The Frankfurt Stock Exchange has recently approved the trading of Cannabis Medical Solutions on its exchange. Cannabis Medical Solutions is “a leading company specializing in merchant payment solutions and financial products for the medical marijuana and health care industrie.” The Frankfurt stock exchange is over 400 years old, and is home to companies from 60 different countries, 40% of its traded companies are North American.

The benefits from listing on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange are:

• Increased international exposure.
• Ability to raise equity capital in Europe.
• Enhanced shareholder value.
• Increased Market-Making commitments.

In Nepal every year the festival of Shivaratri attracts Hindus from all around, who celebrate the great god Shiva by smoking some Shiva. And although officials tolerate the spiritual use of Cannabis by sadhus, toleration of the sale has become more stringent.

Sadhus – Hindus who renounce the world around them – traditionally celebrate Shivaratri by smoking cannabis.

This comes after fears that sale of this drug has become more commercial than spiritual, which has “has spoilt the essence of the festival.” This has prompted local officials of the Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT), to assemble a task force of 25 people (largely understaffed, this event attracts thousands) to enforce this rule, and Any sadhus arrested with large quantities of the drug will be sent to jail.”

The Hindu god Shiva is said to have enjoyed smoking cannabis.

Tell me this god doesn’t look high.

In any case, this event seems like one of the best ways to celebrate spirituality, and is definitely something I need to check out before I die.

An English accountant was recently spared jail for buying her autistic son cannabis. Although Marijuana is illegal in Britain, and there is no current medical system in place, the mother was spared jail at “Liverpool Crown Court last week after a judge ruled that she had acted out of a mother’s love.”

In desperation, she approached the dealers and came to an informal agreement that she would buy the drugs for her son in an attempt to regulate his habit – even paying off his £400 drug debts.

Judge Mark Brown told the court it was a very unusual case and he felt able to take the exceptional course of suspending the sentence because he understood her motivation.

She noticed her son’s behaviour worsening as he smoked the drug, and he became verbally and physically abusive to her.

She said her son had always been regarded as difficult, and suffered from autism and ADHD – Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

Earlier this week in Sacramento, a new hydro-ponic grow store opened, called weGrow. Unlike other hydroponics stores, who are shy to mention the purpose of their growing equipment because of Federal laws, this store actually references Marijuana, and teaches patients how to grow. However, only licensed MMJ patients are allowed to make purchases here, lucky!

Recently, a new type of synthetic legal drug has hit convenience store shelves, being marketed as “bath salts” . These bath salts are made with a chemical called MDPV, or Methylenedioxypyrovalerone, and have known to cause paranoia and bad hallucinations. In any case I would never recommend trying it.

Some have described hallucinations involving being chased by demons, gods, aliens or foreign soldiers.

Ew.

Yup, those heroic Chilean miners were toking it up down there.  Supposedly their families were allowed to smuggle in “porn, pills and dope,” and the men became so desperate for sex, they requested sex dolls. If I was trapped down there, nothing would hit the spot better than a good joint, and what thoughtful families for sending them that!

In order to limit the amount of users allowed to grow medical marijuana for themselves, the state of Arizona has voted to distribute the Dispensaries geographically around the state.  Arizona’s medical marijuana provision allows only patients who live over 25 miles from a dispensary.

Only 124 total dispensaries will be allowed in the state, which the state is currently receiving thousands applications for.

A growing amount of dispensaries in Washington State is prompting law makers to clear up confusion about the state’s medical marijuana laws.

In the past seven months, dispensaries have sprouted across the state, exploiting a loophole in the state medical-marijuana law that neither explicitly allows nor prohibits them. State tax officials estimate at least 120 are open, mostly in the Puget Sound area. Dozens more likely remain underground.

This has prompted state legislators to create a new law, SB 5073, which would aim to regulate and tax MMJ dispensaries, and would create “create the state’s first authorized commercial marijuana farms.”

If the law were to pass as proposed, an estimated 250 dispensaries would register in the first year. By 2017, legislative staff estimate, there would be 1,000 dispensaries serving nearly 70,000 patients.
